End of Year One Exams take place in Term 4 of the course during a three week period which covers weeks 29, 30 and 31. For the exact dates please refer to the relevant courses calendar in the Resource Library on our website.
Schools are notified by email about timings and the number of papers students will be required to take per subject 6 weeks prior to the exam period start date, in week 23.
Further information specific to each subject, as well as exam administration guidelines and exam papers are sent to schools in week 27.
Schools can choose any day and time during the exam period for their student(s) to sit their exam and need to make the necessary arrangements. The exams can be supervised either by a Site-based Coordinator (SBC), a Diploma Programme Coordinator (DPC), or a designated school member. If there are any circumstances beyond the school’s or the student’s control which may prevent them from administering or sitting the exam during the designated 3 week exam window, Pamoja School Services need to be contacted immediately at courses@pamojaeducation.com
Within 24 hours of exam completion the SBC needs to scan the completed exam papers and send by email to the student's teacher of record.
