Following the communication from the International Baccalaureate regarding the submission of Predicted Grades for the M2024 cohort, we are writing to you to share the process for students taking a May 2024 Pamoja Online Course(s).
Pamoja students are expected to fully participate in their courses to the best of their ability, regardless of whether your school is following the exam or the non-exam route. This will help Pamoja teachers provide accurate internal Pamoja grades and IB Predicted Grades.
Pamoja Predicted Grades process:
- 28th February – Pamoja teacher deadline to submit IB Predicted Grades based on the whole body of work a student has produced for a subject for internal subject specific review. A Predicted Grade cannot be allocated until the teacher has received a complete IA by this deadline.
- 29th February – 10th March – internal subject specific review by subject specialists and Pamoja administration.
- 11th – 20th March – internal Pamoja process checking Predicted Grades.
- 21st – 25th March – all schools to receive Predicted Grades through the Pamoja SBC dashboard.
As explained by the IB, the process only applies to predicted grades, Pamoja will still be responsible for the upload of all coursework.
In previous years, Pamoja teachers and School Services managed requests from schools for Predicted Grades. Please note, that only School Services will be able to provide Predicted Grades in accordance with the timetable outlined above.
If you have any questions regarding the Pamoja process, please contact us at courses@pamojaeducation.com.
If you have any questions regarding the grade distribution approach outlined by the IB for schools taking the non-exam route, please contact their Predicted Grades team on predictedgrades@ibo.org.
