Notifications help you stay up to date with important course activity, including announcements, assignment updates, feedback, and messages.
Both students and Site-based Coordinators (SBCs) can adjust their notification preferences at any time.
Please follow the steps below to access notification settings.
- Select Account from the left-hand menu

Click Notifications

Default settings:
Your notification preferences are pre-configured with essential alerts enabled by default.In most cases, you do not need to make changes unless you have specific preferences.

Notification frequency options:
For each notification type, you can choose how often you receive updates. To change a setting, select your preferred option from the dropdown menu.
Important for Students: Do not disable essential notifications
To avoid missing critical updates, the following notifications should remain enabled:
- Announcement
- Due Date
- Invitation
- Submission Comment
- New Reply
- New Mention
- Conversation Message
- Appointment Signup
- Appointment Cancellation
- Appointment Availability
You may adjust how frequently you receive these alerts, but they should not be turned off completely. Disabling essential notifications may result in missed deadlines or important course communications.
