What is considered a transfer student?
We classify a transfer student as wishing to enrol after the registration deadline in Year 1 or before/at the start of Year 2, where they have previously been studying the requested course under face-to-face conditions.
Students must be willing to complete catch-up work, if necessary, to ensure they have covered all course material of the online course to date. The school and/or Site-Based Coordinator must agree to monitor student engagement as part of the conditions of acceptance.
Transfers types:
Student transfer - An individual or small number of students who require an online course to support the continuation of their DP studies.
Class Transfer - A bulk transfer of students who previously studied together under face-to-face conditions and require equal levels of support. Additional School support can be expected to ensure a smooth transition to online study.
Exceptions - Transfers requested outside Pamoja term times or when special requirements must be considered will be welcomed and reviewed equally.
